An Italian horror film directed by Joe D’Amato.

Journalist Emanuelle is undercover in a New York psychiatric hospital and witnesses a nurse having her breast bitten off by another female patient. Emanuelle discovers a strange tattoo on the perpetrator that leads her to Amazon in search of a supposedly extinct tribe of cannibals. Along the way there’s much sex and violence as Emanuelle and her party team up with a nun and a couple searching for a plane that crashed while carrying a consignment of diamonds.
