A British fantasy film directed by Arthur Gilbert. The ubiquitous Faust resurfaced in one of a series of shorts, all directed by Gilbert and released under the umbrella title Chronophone Films. The novelty of these five vignettes is that they were all projected with sound synchronised to gramophone records, one of the earliest attempts in the UK to fuse sound and vision in this way.
