An American horror film directed by Steve Miner. Made to celebrate the twentieth anniversary of John Carpenter’s Halloween (1978), it ignores any of the films from Halloween III: Season of the Witch (1982) onwards and marks the return to the series of Laurie Strode, played by Jamie Lee Curtis.

Plot Summary

Twenty years after Michael Myers escaped from psychiatric hospital and went on a killing spree in Haddonfield, Illinois, his sister Laurie Strode is trying to lead a normal life under a new name having survived her brother’s night of terror. But now Michael is back and stalking Laurie and her teenaged son John at his boarding school – and Laurie finally has to stand up to her murderous brother once and for all…
