It was first broadcast as part of the Comic Relief (1988-) charity telethon and is not regarded as “canonical” although Moffat later re-used some of the story elements during the time he was producing Doctor Who (2005-)
Plot Summary
The Doctor faces off against his arch-enemies The Master and the Daleks, a confrontation that sees them battlig backwards and forwards through time and culminating in The Doctor undergoing several regenerations.
