Plot Summary
A poor woodsman and his wife can no longer bear the sight of their seven children suffering and abandon trhem in the woods. But the youngest and smallest, Tom Thumb, hears what his parents are planning and leaves a trail of breadcrumbs to lead them back home. The crumbs are eaten by birds however and the children find themselves at the imposing home of an ogre, sheltered by the ogre's caring wife. But when the ogre smells the children he plans to eat them and it's up to Tom to save the day.
