Plot Summary
In 1889 London, Christian is so traumatised by the death of his wife that he accepts an offer made by the vampire Nina. He can live for 1000 years but only as her slave, giving him time to search for the reincarnation of his wife. 100 years later he finds her in Los Angeles, reborn as a Katherine, a nurse. But the police are starting to take an interest in the number of bodies that are turning up drained of blood and one officer in general is taking a more personal interest in Katherine.
