Plot Summary
Adrian (known to his mother as Andrew) is the son of Satan. In The Book of Rosemary, we learn that Adrian, now eight years old, and Rosemary are being sheltered by Roman and Minnie Castevet, leaders of the Satanic cult that helped bring Adrian into the world. Rosemary makes a break for freedom and the coven are able to use her personal possessions to trace her to the synagogue they’re hiding in. Unable to affect them due to them being in a house of God, the coven contact actor Guy Woodhouse, Rosemary’s husband, in case she tries to get in touch, Adrian uses his powers to injure some children who are bullying him, and mother and son are betrayed by prostitute Marjean who offers to take them in but is really part of the coven. After Rosemary is despatched aboard a demonic bus, Adrian is raised by Marjean. Twenty years later, The Book of Adrian follows the now adult Adrian as he plays an unwitting part in a ritual to raise the Devil that ends with an orgy at a nightclub. Finally, in The Book of Andrew, Adrian wakes in a hospital with amnesia and is tended by a nurse, Ellen who he ends up running away with. But she’s not quite what she appears to be and the Castevets still have terrible plans for Adrian…
