Lumigraph I (1969)

USA, 1969
colour

An American fantasy experimental film directed by Elfriede Fischinger. The soundtrack was recorded by Oskar Fischinger in 1955 and his widow Elfriede added visuals created using a newer version of Oskar’s “Lumigraph”, a device he’d built in 1950 to manipulate light. An earlier version of the device had been used to create the “love machine” sequence in The Time Travelers (1964).
