An American television fantasy film directed by Vincent McEveety. It was the second attempt to adapt the DC Comics superheroine to the screen, the first having been a 1967 “short presentation” Who’s Afraid of Diana Prince? made by William Dozier in the wake of his two earlier superhero shows Batman (1966-1968) and The Green Hornet (1966-1967). That “pilot” was never shown making Cathy Lee Crosby the first screen incarnation of Wonder Woman albeit a Wonder Woman that was very different to the one seen in the original comics.
Plot Summary
Wonder Woman helps the US government retrieve some stolen books which list all of their agents and their cover names.
