The Tempest (1905)

A British film, directed by Herbert Beerbohm Tree and Charles Urban, that possibly has some fantastic content. It appears to have been a staging of the shipwreck scene from Shakespeare's play though it isn't clear if any of the more overtly fantastical elements of the play have been retained.

Plot Summary

Prospero lives in exile with his daughter Miranda on a remote island. Prospero uses his magic powers to shipwreck his hated brother and sets in motion a chain of events that will change everyone's lives.
