The House of Mystery (1913)

UK,
35mm film, black and white, 1.33:1
silent

A British borderline horror film directed by Wilfred Noy. It's more of a crime thriller than a pure horror film, though it's supposed haunted house setting (secretly a base for ) with its built-in gas chamber, embraces many of the trappings of the genre. It was one of four films written for Clarendon by the Marchioness of Townshend.
