An American television science fiction film directed by Jerry Jameson. It bears some similarities to the 1982 novel Orbit by Thomas H. Block.

Plot Summary

The hypersonic aircraft Starflight One is damaged on its flight between New York and London and ends up outside the Earth’s atmosphere and drifting in orbit. Unable to attempt re-entry because its heat-resistant tiling has been particularly damaged, the crew have to find a safe way back to the ground before the oxygen runs out, killing them and their passengers.
