Plot Summary

The United Federation of Planets is invited by the newly liberated to help administer the space station Terok Nor, once run by their oppressors the . Renamed Deep Space Nine, the station is given over to the command of Benjamin Sisko. His team discover a stable wormhole in Bajoran space leading from the Alpha Quadrant to the Gamma Quadrant and his crew commit themselves to protecting it and encouraging trade and political stability. But all of that may be about o be undone by the Dominion, an alliance of alien species from the Gamma Quadrant.
