Plot Summary

Psychiatrist Dr Cross cares for the comatose Janet Stewart who hasn’t stirred since she saw a man murder his wife with a candlestick. When she recovers, she realises that it was Cross she saw committing the crime and the doctor has her confined to a where he tries to administer an overdose of insulin, driven on by his lover Elaine.
