A British Fantasy film directed by Fred Burnley.

Plot Summary

Anna has fled to the Channel Island of Jersey, on the run from an abusive marriage. There, she meets the handsome and brooding Hugh with who she starts an affair and they move into the house that Hugh shares with his stuffy brother George before setting off for a break in Scotland where Hugh keels over on the beach and dies of a heart attack. Anna returns to Jersey but is so traumatised that the power of her love seems to revive Hugh. The religious George believes that Hugh is possessed by a demon, but Anna is determined to continue their affair even if it’s a relationship that can ultimately only end in tragedy.
