Plot Summary

Music publisher Jan Eckmann plans on buying an old house but finds the current owner, Elena Berg, strangely unwilling to discuss a sale. The locals suspect that she murdered her husband and as Jan falls in love with her he comes to identify with her supposedly dead husband.
