A French fantasy film directed by Georges Méliès.

Plot Summary

A magician fills a casket with water and takes a bath but is bitten by something. When he turns it upside down, the water has gone and instead the casket is full of chickens. A young woman emerges and the magician tries to shoot her with an enormous gun but she transforms into his assistant. Further problems are caused by the appearance two (one of which changes into a poodle) and repeated attempts to take a bath.
