An American horror film directed by Danny Steinmann. Although the subtitle of the previous entry in the franchise had been The Final Chapter, Paramount had been impressed enough by the box office performance of the earlier film to greenlight this sequel. It attempts to side-line the series' iconic killer , a decision that was swiftly reversed in the next film in the sequence, Jason Lives: Friday the 13th Part VI (1986).

Plot Summary

Several years after the events of The Final Chapter, Tommy, now aged 17 is plagued by recurring of Jason. He's incarcerated in a mental institution for disturbed teens, an outdoor centre that resembles a summer camp. Soon enough, people begin to die at an alarming rate, murdered by a mysterious figure in a ski mask. Surely, it couldn't be Jason…?
