A British science fiction television serial directed by Mary Ridge from scripts by Stephen Gallagher. It marked the final television appearance (charity special Dimensions in Time (1993) and a very brief appearance as a hallucination in the mind of a regenerating Doctor in Planet of Fire (1984) aside) of Sarah Sutton as Nyssa though she would reprise the role many times in Big Finish’s range of audio dramas.

Premise

Turlough affects the TARDIS console so it joins up with a space liner and The Doctor encounters space pirates before the liner docks with Terminus, a place where it is believed dreadful disease can be cured. Nyssa contracts the disease and Terminus’ claims must be put to the test.
