Plot Summary

Vittorio Accattone is a deadbeat who makes his living by pimping his friend Maddalena. But when she’s arrested, Accatone’s fortunes change – he ends up a beggar on the streets and even has a disturbing dream of his own death. Then he meets Stella, a naive peasant worker, and Accattone determines to fight his way back to the good life…
