PLOT SUMMARY

A biography of Stanley Kubrick, including contributions from many of his friends, family and colleagues.

CAPSULE REVIEW

Though the darker side of Kubrick's genius is ignored, this is nevertheless an outstanding biography of one the all-time great directors. There's little here that the die-hard fan won't already know, but it's a good insight into the great man's working methods. Recommended for fans and the more sceptical alike.
