Owner of this imposing gothic retreat is Frank N. Furter, a deranged transvestite scientist from the planet Transylvania who's created a perfect specimen of manhood, Rocky in his lab. CAPSULE REVIEW One of the most over-rated film of all time, this overblown adaptation of O'Brien's cult musical is good for just one decent song and a truly outrageous performance from Curry. in stockings, suspenders and other items of exotic lingerie, Curry is spectacular in an otherwise unremarkable film. Rocky Horror's only highlight is the show stopping and enduring Time Warp sequence and after this it's downhill all the way, the film quickly degenerating into a meandering farce. Rocky Horror's success has been due mostly to a fanatical hardcore following and their interactions with the film - often more entertaining than the film itself - that has elevated the film to cult status.
