Asia Argento (1975 - ) Date of Birth: 20 September 1975 The younger daughter of Italian horror maestro Dario Argento (her mother was actress Daria Nicolodi), Argento has worked hard to move out of her father's shadow - although she has worked with him many times, she has also proved herself a more than capable actress in her own right. As well as acting, she has pursued other interests - she has had a novel, I Love You Kirk, published and has regularly sung with a number of Rome based bands. In 1994, she followed in her father's footsteps and directed her first film. * = television 1987 1988 1993 1994 1996 1998 New Rose Hotel (performer (Sandii)) 2000 2001 2002 2003 XXX: A Filmmakers Diary (performer (herself)) 2004 2005 A Day With the Living Dead (performer (herself)) Land of the Dead (performer (Slack)) 1984 1989 Zoo (performer (Martina)) 1992 1993 1994 La reine Margot (performer - Charlotte of Sauve) 1995 1996 1997 1998 1999 2000 Les misérables (performer (Éponine Thénardier)) * Les morsures de l'aube (performer (Violaine)) Scarlet Diva (script; director; performer (Anna Battista)) La scomporsa (producer; director) 2001 L'assenzio (script; director; performer) 2002 Player$ (performer (herself)) * La sirene rouge (performer (Anita)) 2003 2004 Tracks: Tarantino Special (6 May 2004) (performer (herself)) * 2005 NOVELS SEE ALSO MAGAZINES Cream vol.1 no.1 (Winter 1998) L'Espresso no.3 1998 Femme Fatales vol.7 no.13 (26 March 1999) (USA) Gear May / June 1999 Maxim May 1999 (USA) Movieline April 1997 p.16 (USA) Premiere vol.2 no.7 (March 1998) p.40 (USA)
