CAPSULE REVIEW
The moce to the
independent television station Thames Television saw
Morecambe and Wise beginning to lose their grip on the
British comedy crown that they'd clung to throughout the
1970s. They were still as popular as ever, but the
quality of the material simply wasn't as good. Still
worth watching, but it was a pale shadow of what the duo
had been in the 70s.
