PLOT SUMMARY

A bat flies into a castle and turns into the Devil, Mephistopheles. He conjurs up a young woman from a cauldron along with a host of skeletons, witches and apparitions, one of which tries to subdue the demon armed with a crucifix. (NOTE: widely regarded to be the very first horror film).
