PLOT SUMMARY
It's war on Earth as the Daleks and the Cybermen enter into an uneasy
alliance, with The Doctor and the human race at their mercy. But all
is not as it seem - the Daleks have their own agenda and for The Doctor
and Rose, there's going to be no happy ending this time...
CAPSULE REVIEW
A wonderful - though very flawed - way to end both series two and the
whole Rose Tyler story arc. We could, perhaps, have done with a bit
more of the much anticipated Dalek / Cyberman confrontation but with
performances, direction, plotting, dialogue and effects as good as these,
that's a minor complaint. Anyone who didn't have tears in their eyes
during those last ten minutes is a stronger man than I. There are moments
that make absolutely no sense at all, but overall it's really very wonderful
indeed.
