PLOT SUMMARY

An underwater sea base is conducting missile tests that disturb the last of the Silurians, who in turn revive a colony of Sea Devils. The Doctor must combat his old enemies.

CAPSULE REVIEW

Old monsters brought back because they looked great and then re-designed so what's the point? Good script, but seven years on from the Hinchcliffe era, production design and lighting were bog standard and created no atmosphere. Transmission was moved to consecutive weekday nights.
