PLOT SUMMARY

The Doctor is caught between two warring tribes, the Sevateem and the Tesh. Both tribes are descendants of the occupants of a spaceship that landed years before. The Doctor had attempted to fix the spaceship's computer on a previous visit and finds that the computer and his image are being worshipped as Gods. On conclusion, the savage Sevateem girl Leela forces her way into the TARDIS and insists The Doctor takes her with him.

CAPSULE REVIEW

After Baker's pleas to be allowed to travel alone went unheeded, the idea that he would have a different companion every story was mooted but ultimately rejected. Instead the savage Leela was introduced in this rather ordinary space adventure. The cutesy names and the Doctor's previous involvement give no depth to a basic two warring tribes plot that was used numerous times before and since.
